BRANDON SANTINI and SOUTHERN HALO
live at the New Roxy, May 13, 2016
BRANDON SANTINI Raised in North Carolina and based in Memphis, this fresh talent is following in the tradition of James Cotton, Paul Butterfield, and Charlie Musselwhite, to name a few.
From BrandonSantini.com, “It’s all about the vibe of your surroundings. With a great live audience fueling you it’s a lot more inspiring and allows you to give more to the audience.” He has steadily built his fan base with two previous albums, and tours regularly. His A-Team road band includes Timo Arthur on guitar and backing vocals, Nick Hern on bass and backing vocals, and Chad Wirl on drums.
SOUTHERN HALO are three sisters (Natalia, Christina, and Hannah) from just down the road in Cleveland, MS. Their voices blend in harmony as their style blends country and pop, and sounds nothing like the girl next door. These beaming youngsters take the stage in style and will carry you away with their energetic performance.
and don’t forget – This evening is for the benefit of the
St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
Your contribution, or cover charge in this case, helps to continue research for aggressive treatments of childhood cancer, and other life-threatening diseases. Be part of the solution! Here’s a little tidbit: Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. Here’s some background for you:
“More than a half-century ago, entertainer Danny Thomas envisioned a hospital that would treat children regardless of race, color, creed or their family’s ability to pay. A facility where research would shine light into the darkness.
Thomas’ vision became a reality when St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital opened February 4, 1962. Since then, St. Jude has become one of the world’s premier pediatric research institutions. Explore the scientific milestones that have marked our progress from that day to present.”
